Madelyn Porter has been telling stories since she was able to speak. She has worked as a professional storyteller/actress for the past forty years, and is a member of Actor’s Equity Association. Currently she performs historical reenactments and storyliving at the Detroit Historical Museum, The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village, Troy Historical Village, and is lead instructor for Michigan Opera Theatre’s Create and Perform Outreach Program. She also writes and creates stories on commission.
