Abigail Anne Newbold, 2009 Kresge Artist Fellow in the Visual Arts

Abigail Anne Newbold will complete a residency at the MacDowell Colony in October 2014.

 

Tyree Guyton, 2009 Kresge Artist Fellow in the Visual Arts

Tyree Guyton received the Balthazar Korab Award from the American Institute of Architects of Michigan, and the Heidelberg Project was named as one of the “25 Most Amazing Community Arts Projects” by Social Work Degree Guide.

 

Kathleen Pfeiffer, 2012 Kresge Artist Fellow in the Literary Arts

At the 2014 Modern Language Association Annual Convention in Chicago, Kathleen Pfeiffer participated in a roundtable discussion of Modernist Studies and the Harlem Renaissance in January 2014. The roundtable highlighted a special issue of the journal Modernism/Modernity examining Harlem Renaissance studies in relation to the New Modernism.
