Kresge Arts in Detroit and WDET present the 2023 virtual artist salon series featuring the 2022 Kresge Artist Fellows and Gilda Award recipients. This nine part series includes never before seen video presentations by awarded metro Detroit artists, filmmakers, musicians, dancers, and performers followed by a public Q+A and conversation.
The salon series begins Tuesday, February 7 and ends Thursday, April 27. The February salons will be moderated by Bridge Detroit’s Orlando P. Bailey and The Michigan Chronicle’s Andre Ash. WDET’s Chris Campbell will moderate March and April salons.
This program is a collaboration between Kresge Arts in Detroit and WDET and is part of Kresge Arts in Detroit’s mission to advance and showcase the work of Kresge Artist Fellows and Gilda Awardees, provide space for growth and discovery, and further the connection between Detroit artists and the wider arts community.
ASL interpretation will be provided during all salon events.
