Aiko Fukuchi

Aiko Fukuchi is a writer who illustrates experiences of existing in between identities, spaces, and relationships through storytelling. Fukuchi moved to Detroit in 2015 to pursue creative interests, contribute to social justice movements and work, and to find community. They have published articles, poetry, and stories. In addition to writing, Fukuchi has directed their creative energy into narrative-building and curriculum creation within social justice and community organizing spaces, focusing on topics including environmental racism and anti-oppressive organizing strategies.
