Tzarinas Of The Plane

Faina Lerman and Bridget Michael have performed together as Tzarinas of the Plane since 2008. They are multi-media performance artists whose work mixes disciplines as well as audiences. Their performances explore sound, movement, sculpture, film, and everything in between. They have performed in many of Detroit’s alternative art spaces, as well as on street corners, in abandoned homes, in backyards, as part of artist installations, as well as at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Ox-Bow School of Art, and the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh.
